Our volunteers are the heart of Angel Babies of Wisconsin.
Using donated wedding gowns, our volunteers lovingly create angel gowns, blankets, bonnets, and keepsakes for babies during a time of unimaginable loss. Every garment is handcrafted with compassion and becomes a meaningful gift for a family.
Whether you're an experienced seamstress or have never made an angel gown before, we'd love to welcome you to our team.

What You'll Do
What You'll Do
As a volunteer, you'll receive a donated wedding gown and transform it into beautiful angel garments for babies of various sizes, including:
Micro-Preemie
Preemie
Infant
Full Term
Whenever possible, gowns are matched with volunteers based on location to help reduce shipping costs.
Even if you don't know how to sew, we could definately use your help taking dresses apart and getting them ready for the seamstress. This work includes taking apart wedding gowns, which includes removing lace, buttons & beading, organizing those items for the seamstress. You will also cut patterns which will be emailed to you. Once a wedding gown is taken apart and patterns cut, you will get those items to the seamstress, either in person or via mail.

How much time do I need to volunteer?
How much time do I need to volunteer?
There is no minimum commitment. Whether you sew one gown each year or several each month, every contribution is appreciated.

Most of the materials come from the donated wedding gown. Additional supplies and instructions will be discussed when you're matched with a gown.
